Cigar Hygrometer
The hygrometer is the device that tells you the level of humidity in your humidor. These come in either analog or digital. Most cigar humidors come with the analog style as standard equipment. Analogs must be calibrated before use via the salt test, which takes six hours to do. Instructions on how to do the salt test can be found in our Knowledge Base. A digital hygrometer is accurate right out of the box to 1 degree +/-. They also give you a digital readout of the the internal temperature of your humidor which is just as important as the humidity reading.
